MIKULSKI ANNOUNCES STEP FORWARD IN PUTTING NEARLY $29 MILLION IN FEDERAL CHECK BOOK FOR HARFORD, CECIL COUNTY WATER PROJECTS
Maryland on track to receive $70 million for critical projects
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Barbara A. Mikulski (D-Md.), a senior member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, announced another step forward for the fiscal year 2010 Energy and Water Development Appropriations Bill, which will put more than $70 million in the federal checkbook for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers projects in Maryland, including nearly $29 million for Harford and Cecil County priorities. The bill has now been passed by the Senate Appropriations Committee and goes next to the Senate floor for a vote, which has not yet been scheduled...
